Could it be, I've been in Austin for three months? Wow. Finally got around to doing some explorations by foot - it's been awfully chilly here (I say this, but think of my friends and fam back home who are buried in snow and -20 degree weather) but we've been on a warm snap. Took a walk over the packman "Never Give up Bridge" for the first time on a walk to whole foods. Felt sooooooo good to be outside and get some fresh air!
So things are really starting to move with my projects. After 30 hours of cumulative work, I finally finished my Indiegogo video. It looks great! Am thinking I may launch sooner than later, which is exciting and also a little nerve racking. (Stay tuned...) I also secured a drummer and bass player for the first round of 4 songs to be recorded and will officially be having the first full day of production commence on February 8th! Whowee!
Bathtub Moon is also starting to pick up. Our dear and generous friend Lunch Box offered to take some photo and audio recordings of our flipnotics show, which should be posted on our website real soon. We are starting to talk about a mini tour to NOLA at the end of March. Our harmonies are really getting tight and our repertoire much more expansive. And we are always taking requests :)
That's it for now folks. Stay warm out there! XOXO Katie
