WRITING THE APOCALYPSE A Weekly Writing Support Group JULY Series
These are some INTENSE times we are living through right now. I can think of no better way for us to process and move through the difficult emotions that are surfacing than through writing. Personal journaling has been a cornerstone of my survival, and it now feels like it is time to take it a step further. Writing in community and being witnessed in speaking our voice increases the healing power of our words by 100 fold. In a safe, intimate space, we will explore a different theme each week related to our current reality. Optional weekly writing assignments will also be offered. This is a unique opportunity for us to come together to process, witness others, be witnessed, speak our truth, and dig deep. Space is limited to 8 people per class, so please sign up early. Additional cohorts may be added.

CONNECT TO CONSENT WORKSHOP: Tools To Help Us Discover Our Own Body's Wisdom and Communicate Our Truth
HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU WANT? WHEN YOU KNOW, CAN YOU SPEAK IT?
As a professional massage therapist, listening to my clients and their needs is a CRUCIAL part of my job. I have noticed in my work, however, that often times clients do not have the body awareness, communication skills, or simply feel empowered enough to co-create a session with me. Thus, I created this workshop to support and empower people to learn body awareness, communication skills, and emotional literacy. By using what I call "The Consent Timeline," we will practice skills that help us listen to and understand our own physical and emotional experience, so that we can better: communicate with others, set clear and healthy boundaries, and improve the quality of connection in all of our relationships. We will explore as a group a variety of interactive, self-reflective, and collective sharing activities, all to be held in a safe, confidential and supportive container.
PARTICIPANTS WILL WALK AWAY WITH THE FOLLOWING:
- Increased body awareness - Greater ability to identify and communicate feelings and needs clearly - Reflective listening practice and tools - Deeper feelings of connection to self and other - Practice saying "No" and "Yes" from a place of empowerment and truth
